Born in Kentucky and raised in Ohio, I moved to Colorado Springs in 1979 to pursue falconry, big game hunting, and fishing at its best. After graduating from Ohio State University, I served my military duty in the USAF as a Titan II ICBM Missile Launch Officer in Kansas, where I studied Fine & Professional Arts at Wichita State University. I completed my studies in Fine & Professional Arts including Jewelry and Small Metal Sculpture (Goldsmithing) at Kent State University in Ohio. I work primarily in acrylic paint, producing Wildlife, Western, and Portrait art. As a Red Herring, I enjoy improvisational acting with this acclaimed troupe, which led to my local character appearances as Col. William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody. I am privileged to exhibit alongside the wonderful artists here at Arati, where I look forward to meeting gallery visitors interested in our area’s finest.
