Dale Pittock is a native of Colorado Springs and a lifelong artist.   While attending high school he found his niche in the art world as he studied oil painting.   After high school, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Art History at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.  He has been employed as an electrical engineer at Keysight (Formerly Hewlett Packard) since 1973.  He continues to pursue his love of art and painting.  He is known for his magnificent original landscapes and also has the canny ability to replicate the works of great masters.  He creates his paintings using a variety of medium, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, pencil, pen and ink, pastels airbrush, crayon, and pottery. Dale has adorned ceramic, metal, wall surfaces, wood, glass and fiberglass. He has a broad range of skills and is constantly experimenting with brush strokes, light techniques and technology. His forte is the use of color and his ability to draw the viewer into his paintings with talent for making the light source extraordinarily striking. Much of  Dales work is influenced by a group of painters known from the Hudson River School – Such artists as Albert Bierstadt and Thomas Moran are among his favorite.    For more information on this artist, please see his website at www.pittockfineart.com.
